    FX Masterclass on Impact tuning

Thanks Ernest, I applied the techniques to a sub 12 in the UK. Obviously the fps is a lot lower (8.4 g at 780 fps) and the start reg pressure is low compared to you unlimited guys. But the process and techniques work. Remove the HST and valve limiter from stage 1 by maxing the HST and backing...

    FX Impact creeping velocity

Thanks frank320 I've been going by Steve's video (AEAC) in which me turns in until the velocity starts to drop then backs out just a bit. Would be good to get confirmation from the horses mouth though. Look forward to you getting a response . Chris

    FX Impact creeping velocity

Sorry for the incorrect description . In the UK the regulator adjustment screw has the Allen key hole filled with an epoxy to stop you adjusting the reg pressure. Hot needle and pop it out and it's gone.

    FX Impact creeping velocity

Whilst waiting for the o rings to arrive I decided to start the regulator disassembly . The valve rod shows signs of being adjusted down whilst under pressure. Before I removed the anti tamper I read up extensively on what to do and what not to do and I'm sure the dimple was not done by me. I...

    FX Impact creeping velocity

Thanks for the replys guys. I had setup the rifle previously as a number of videos (including Steve's on AEAC) and was still suffering from the velocity creep. O rings on the way to me will do a service including the regulator and will report back the results. Cheers

    FX Impact creeping velocity

Hi guys. Nice to be part of this forum. Thought I would ask this question in this forum as you have far greater experience of tuning the FX Impact than the UK forums. Our sub 12 law stops the tinkering. That being said I've had issues with velocity creep for some time and decided to sort myself...
