Why doesn't FX fix their regulator problems? These are expensive guns and FX should have the resources to get it done!

Impressive effort. My technique was put the scope on my wildcat and tighten all of the screws. Everything shoots nicely as far as I can tell. What might be issues resulting from my amateur placement? The rifle came with the scope mounted but I had to move it and had no idea efforts like yours...

I have the Wildcat .30 which I purchased form Ken Hicks (his recommendation). It is my first PCP so I don't have a comparison to .25. It is very accurate. I shoot out to 100yds and it is essentially as accurate at 100 as 75. Most days I seem to be the clear the rate limiting step. My best group...

Impressive. Be careful with handling them- their low body temp helps harbor Mycobacterium leprae which causes Leprosy. You probably already know that. Good shooting!

Frustrating does not quite capture it- 2k for a piece of junk is horrendous. I don't have experience with the Nomad but certainly hope it gets you quality use. Good luck!

Agree with BigTin. 400fps is fast for an arrow. I know crossbows have improved and I haven't followed the crossbow market but 900 seems unrealistic. Obviously this does not explain the troubles with your Wildcat though. Good luck.

Because of the additional filter issue I went with the type 2. Yes it was more $ but it is complete with top end filtration. The 220v line was not difficult to install. It is a fantastic product thus far.

My need to re zero is predominantly in the horizontal axis. Would regulator inconsistency do this? I would expect variable pellet velocity to give more variation in the vertical axis point of impact. 

How could I check the regulator without replacing it? Would a chronograph string give me the answer? The chronograph string created when the dealer tuned was very consistent.

This is my first PCP and so I am not sure what to expect. The barrel seems to deflect quite easily- that is, it is quite flexible. In just setting the gun down carefully or getting it in and out of it's case I notice some flexing of the barrel. It seems that this could change the point of impact...

Great info. My Wildcat .30 has not had this problem so perhaps there is some variability in their cheek rest production. Good info to have.

Very impressive guys. What happens to accuracy if you push past 75 to 100yards? Do you need larger caliber to maintain accuracy? What have you done to the Gauntlet and could I find instructions on how to modify? How much do the mods cost? How many shots are you getting per fill?
