FX Air leaks in cold weather?

I had a rifle that would leak only when it got under 40 degrees or so. It ended up being a metal shaving in the fill ports one way valve.

    EDgun Leshiy classic problems

Try bleeding off tank pressure until it’s down close to the regulator pressure. If it shoots as it should then, you have a regulator issue.

possum #4 meets mrod and does the funky chicken

This guy has no business keeping animals or owning guns as he lacks the intelligence and morality for either one. The cats are after the rats and are of no threat to chickens. I keep the worlds smallest breed of chickens and have never had an issue with cats or possums. Also you can’t see...

Possum #3 takes a dirt nap

I’ve had raccoons pull a half grown turkey through a chain link fence. That’s a testament to their strength and dexterity. One raccoon sticks his arm through the fence while another runs around stirring up the birds.

Possum #3 takes a dirt nap

My free ranged bantams die of old age so I might have a thing or two figured out. If possums are able to pull the wire back, you have a poorly constructed enclosure…. I don’t expect to cure your ignorance but I might be able to help the next guy

Possum #3 takes a dirt nap

If you’re loosing birds to possums, you have a poorly built/ designed coop. Maybe you should sell the thermal scope you used to shoot a cat in its hindquarter and use the money to have someone build you a legit coop…. If you’re actually trying to “protect your livestock” you may want to start...

Look at the size of this stinking squirrel

Our dog treed a woodchuck years back and up until then I’d never have thought them to be able to climb like that.

and with this momentous act, we shall usher in a new era -Palpatine

I’ve got quite a bit of experience hunting with thermal and that looked an awful lot like a domestic cat you just shot in the hind quarter.

The carbon fiber sleeve? I did one on mine, as most people do.

Want to make my wildcat mkii .25 compact 500mm a slug shooter

Huma sells a caliber conversion kit, gives you everything you need besides the barrel liner and magazine. https://www.huma-air.com/FX-Wildcat-MKII-Caliber-Exchange-Set-with-V2-Dual-Hole-Transfer-Port-High-Flow-Pellet-and-Slug-Probe

Want to make my wildcat mkii .25 compact 500mm a slug shooter

If I set the regulator to 140 I would lose velocity. When I tuned the gun I turned the reg pressure up and the velocity increased as I did. I stopped at 150 because it was grouping well.

Want to make my wildcat mkii .25 compact 500mm a slug shooter

I have a MKII, same as the original poster. I don’t remember exactly what speed I got out of the 26.8 NSA… a little below the 900 I got out of the hybrids… My regulator pressure is set at 150 bar. The factory hammer and spring seemed to work fine, at least it dialed in like every other gun I’ve...

Want to make my wildcat mkii .25 compact 500mm a slug shooter

I tried the NSA 26.8 and couldn’t get them past 900 even with the power plenum. They grouped half way decent but I always had an occasional flyer with them. That’s why I ended up using the FX hybrids.

Want to make my wildcat mkii .25 compact 500mm a slug shooter

The rifle that he’s working with is a .25 caliber and predates slug liners.

Want to make my wildcat mkii .25 compact 500mm a slug shooter

I have the same gun and was able to get the FX hybrids up to 900 fps and shooting moa at 100. Huma reg at 150, power plenum and superior liner. I only get 2 magazines before refilling in .25 caliber. I also did the Huma .22 caliber conversion and get great results with the NSA 17.5 at 960 fps...

What was your best day of pest control

It’s nice to help out on a small family farm and rats are a ton of fun. Otherwise I’d rather be down with you getting a tan as opposed to dropping my pellet pen in cow manure. I’d love to come down for an iguana hunt sometime.

What was your best day of pest control

My best days were actually nights. My buddy married into a dairy farm that had no shortage of pigeons, starlings and rats. Used my Leshiy classic in .177 sub 12 for sensitive areas and an SK-19 with ATN 4K pro mounted and zeroed and a thermal scope mounted to the 4K. Heavy and awkward but made...

So i shot a baby groundhog today...

Few years back we had a family of skunks living under our shed. As cute as they were I knew I was going to have to shoot them. Sure enough the dog got sprayed by one of the babies, that made things a little easier for me but I still felt bad doing it.

[SOLD] LCS SK-19 .25 “compact “ with ammo

Need to let something go to fund a mini lathe so I’m deciding to take a hiatus from the .25 caliber pellet for a while and part ways with my “least necessary” air rifle. It has always worked well for me so I was a little hesitant to have a friend shorten the barrel up for me but don’t regret it...
