Time starts when shooting at the first sighter and is included in the 5 minute time limit. I wouldn’t follow that 5 minute rule since almost all competitions require a minimum of 20 minutes for 25 targets including the sighters.

Same setup but with QYS 9.56gr at 30.2 -30.4 yards using my LRF I am still taking videos when I shoot as part of my training before competition season starts.

That’s exactly what I’ve been doing for the past 7 years. The problem most of the time is our very wobbly makeshift benches since we don’t have any formal shooting ranges when we go around our island and other islands as well when there are tournaments.

I’ll add rule #6: Everything must be on video including tape measured distance from firing line up to the target. 😆

Get a Sentinel X like mine or the Pro version and you’ll love it for benchrest shooting. I use it for both WRABF BR25 meter and BR50 meter competitions and sometimes use it at 100 yards...
