The scalloped edge (as in the last picture with my finger on it) is towards the inside of the house - indicating that the projectile came from the outside. I do have kids but to me, if something was thrown at the window by the kids, then there would be at least one piece of glass on the outside...

Right. Thanks fellas. Good to get an opinion from you guys. If it was a rock, I reckon someone's thrown it really really hard - otherwise just the glass would have shattered. No ? And if it was thrown really hard, I would have found the rock inside the house - which I didn't. Now am hoping...
