A Guide To Smashing Coyotes In Your Yard

Anyone try tying a rawhide dog chew to a tree for bait? Dogs lay down and chew them for many minutes.

Increase FPE by 70% with Helium? The AirForce Texan HE Experiment!

I don't think it has much to do with smaller and slipperier and more to do with having much less mass for the equivalent amount of compressed gas. Remember whatever gas you use, the gas must also be accelerated down the barrel same as the projectile.

    Zulus non lrf

I like the new model, but can't afford it. Maintenance costs are probably overwhelming.

Caught up with this Coyote the other night.

Great shot no death dance at all. What type of projectile we're using caliber FPE and distance to Target

    Hornets nest

Great instructional video and how to remove harness Nest safely with a proper equipment and planning. However don't find too many of those videos on YouTube because you won't get it as many clicks as if you doused it with gasoline and hit it with a flamethrower. Which can be done in relative...

    Anyone eat urban backyard squirrels?

    GX CS4 Cord Wrap

Some kind of rivets. I drilled and ground them off. Never plan on using that cord reel again. In the trash it went!

    Hornets nest

If you like excitement, entertainment and don't mind some danger, then buy one of these and shoot the nest and run like hell. If you are real brave/stupid just save your money and used a baseball bat or broom handle. https://www.airgundepot.com/air-venturi-wing-shot.html

    Hornets nest

Much safer to put some fipronil on the bait they like, all dead in less than 24hr without risk to your health. Based on the provided search results, here's information on baiting for Dolichovespula maculata (bald-faced hornet): Baits and attractants Sweet Baits (late season): Late in the...

    Are glass optics becoming obsolete?

There is a issue with digital and wide dynamic range of luminance. I seen this as well not only in daytime but at night time where the target was too dark because a porch light was on at the side but the target was shielded from that light source. The IR lights were too dim to compete with the...

    Are glass optics becoming obsolete?

I never want to see that kind of image in my scope whether it is digital or optical. I don't like brown stuff in my pants as the last thing that happens before I'm six feet under.

A coyote trying to get into my coon feeder

The yote came back again and chewed off about 1" of the spout. I found this hunter's video that said a non-head shot usually has them running up to 60 yard. Non-starter for me, don't want to search for it and never want it running off my property. So only brain shots would be tried. Therefore...

A coyote trying to get into my coon feeder

I don't have a .357 yet, but would consider one (Mora) if I wanted to go for a yote. Then I could go for a lung shot with less chance of missing. But I don't want it to run more than 10 yards. I view a Mora in .357 similar in power to a 38 Special, but much quieter. It should be strait forward...

Huben My GK1 V3 .177 tune and shot count

I have a 177, what I like about a 177 cheaper ammo, quieter, more shots per fill. Yes some pellets are too small and can jam. Vortex was the worst. But find the ones that fit the cylinder, NBD. Downside, more of a PITA to load those small pellets.

    Raccoon Pellet Choice/Tune (vs plinking)

I would suggest before removing any live animals from cuff traps, give it lead poisoning first! A hurt pissed off animal with teeth and claws can be dangerous to your health.

    Raccoon Pellet Choice/Tune (vs plinking)

Unharmed? I doubt it. May have broken bones inside the leg, or at least severe bruising. Put you finger inside, set off the trap and tell me your unharmed. However it's unlikely the a cat will trigger it unless its claws are long and hooked like a skunk. I extend the barrel of a cuff trap so...

A coyote trying to get into my coon feeder

I'll give the yotes a pass unless I see them personally in the daytime, or if I see a pack of them >=3 at one time. Otherwise I think the yotes are doing me a favor by hopefully keeping the rat population in check. Besides I don't want to have to dispose of a large corpse and only have a 0.25...

A coyote trying to get into my coon feeder

If it tried harder it can get the cat food inside since they can bite through the plastic.
