    HW77K 177 moderator

I have one on my 77K and it makes a noticeable difference. Well worth having if noise is an issue

    HW97K or 98?

I have a 77K. It’s a lovely rifle and very accurate. It has the open sights too which gives you an option. Weihrauch supply a silencer for the 77 too which works well although does make the rifle longer. I have not shot a 98. I have an 80K which is only a month old so I’ve not put too many...

    Which gun..hw35 ,tx200 or hw97...

I’ve just bought an HW80K in .177. I have an HW77K too. The 80 is a little lighter and I prefer it to the 77. If you’re considering the 35, think about the 80? It’s addictive this hobby. All the best.

    HW75

I have an HW75 (.177) and an HW45 (.22). As above, the 45 is easier to cock and I prefer shooting it to the 75. It’s not as accurate but still not bad after some practice. I believe the 45 in .22 is smoother than the .177. Both are well built and either is a good choice. enjoy.

    Air Pistol Preference

These are my two. I prefer the HW45 in .22 to the HW75 so far my groups are better with it. Still not great though

    Air Pistol Section

It seems there’s a reasonable level of interest. Hopefully the mods will take note.

    Air Pistol Section

I have emailed the forum mods to ask if we can have an air pistol section. They will give it some thought. I just wondered if this is something we may use? All the best. Rich

    POI with change in magnification

Is there a significant change in POI from say 3x to 9x on a scope at airgun ranges, for example 40 metres. I have a Hawke vantage 3-9 x 40. Many thanks. Rich.

    First outing with HW77K

I will try the greens. Im going to order an HW95 in .177 too I think. The bug has truly bitten me.

    First outing with HW77K

I was seated. Using a foam rest with my left hand (I’m right handed) gently supporting the for-end. It is a heavy rifle. I’ve bought an HW99 for rabbits. I think the 77 will be target only due to its weight.

    First outing with HW77K

My first proper outing with my new HW77K. Only 20M so plenty of practice needed but I’m impressed by the rifle. It liked H&N FTT too. JSB exacts felt slacker when I loaded them and POI was 2 inches higher. Which pellets does your 77 like. Cheers.

Once you're well set with PCP, is there merit to buying a low-cost springer?

The 30 is lovely to shoot with no significant recoil. It’s acccurate too. I have moderator and it quiets the rifle a little. I can’t say if it’s as quiet as a PCP as I don’t have any. It’s not noisy though. You will not be disappointed. Enjoy.

Any reason to tune a Weihrauch?

I think I’ll go down the route of opening them up and cleaning. Maybe put a sleeve in and a couple of slip washers too. Thanks for the info chaps

Any reason to tune a Weihrauch?

I think I’ll shoot them for a few thousand pellets and see how they break in. Thanks for the comments

Any reason to tune a Weihrauch?

I have an HW 77K, an HW99S and an HW30. I notice now the internal spring guide is delrin? Or at least synthetic. This HW 99 is very smooth to shoot untouched. I put a TBT kit in the 30 and can’t notice a difference. Thoughts?

    HW30 Scope

I’ll second the Hawke 4 x 32 AO. Shoots a treat. Ive just ordered a TBT Tinbum tuning kit which by all accounts should make the rifle even smoother.
