Airgun Technologies Uragan or FX in 25 cal

I really appreciate your comments guys. Was not aware of the Taipan 2. Looks good also. I am basically a paper puncher with slugs. Also was not aware that the European guns are not as easy to adjust as the FX

Airgun Technologies Uragan or FX in 25 cal

Have had a. 25 Panthera 700 for a year and thinking of selling it and buying a Uragan 2. Most everything I read puts the AGT guns as the most accurate out there. My Panthera is very accurate but often wonder if I am missing something.

    FX Panthera loves Griffins

Have tried many slugs in my 25 Panthera and keep coming back to these. Using the Superior 1/24 liner. Griffin 42 grain slugs come very close to this accuracy but the 38 wins

    Other Big bore forum

A few years ago, 5+, there were lots of guys posting every day on the GTA big bore forum. Tons of expert advice. They seem to have all moved on. Miss them. I started several years ago with a Extreme 457, Ranger 45, Career 909, Extreme 408, Slayer 357 and Bushbuck 452. Really enjoyed...

    Western Airguns Bushbuck Rules

Congratulations on the carbine. To eliminate the cleaning issue buy an old toaster oven and powder coat them. Or you can roll them on a pad saturated with 10 wt rc shock oil (available on ebay). Will reduce cleaning dramatically. Have fun

    Western Airguns Bushbuck Rules

Just use the spire points for punching holes. I shot a nice buck some time ago with a 220 grain cast slug from my 40 cal Extreme. Complete pass through at 40 yards and he dropped after going about 40 yards.

    Western Airguns Bushbuck Rules

An ol timer did some homework a few years back and found that a large meplat (flat nose) is necessary to make a major wound channel which proves to be much more deadly. Spire points bleed much less.

I size after powder coating. They drop very close to 452 so sizing is easy

    Western Airguns Bushbuck Rules

Getting the itch for fall deer hunting. Checked my scope zero and made a few minor adjustments and ready to go. Shooting 350 grain from my Bushbuck Carbine at 50 yards. Good enough. The spire point 380 grain shoot a one ragged hole but not much wound channel. Mold is a Accurate that...

Also I shoot slugs lubed with 10wt r/c shock oil I buy on eBay. Reduces barrel leading significantly

A day at the range with a Slayer...

Do not remove barrel. It is a tensioned barrel. I clean from the muzzle end. Just be careful and use brass cleaning tools. The barrel is a rifle barrel and not soft metal like an airgun barrel
