What springer did you shoot today?

Took a few shots with the FWB127 today. Dropped in a JM kit recently since the original piston seal crumbled into dirt.

    Beeman Kodiak .25

Not my cup of tea. I had a Kodak for all of a hot minute. The cocking effort and recoil were, in my opinion, unpleasant. My neighbor shot it once and had his eyebrow bloodied by the scope. I thought a Theoben Eliminator would be more manageable, however, that puppy required even more cocking...

Whats your most accurate 22 pellet pusher?

Without question my USFT Hunter #40. I had a 250 card at my first BR match using this rifle.

    Leaky USFT

Okay, tried to fill my USFT Hunter the other day and got nothing but a steady flow of air out the breech. The fact there was no pressure in the tank was a dead giveaway that I had a leak somewhere as this particular rifle has held air indefinitely in the past. I'm guessing the problem is in the...

    WTS/WTT: Edgun Veles

I have a .22 Edgun Veles pistol for sale. I’m not sure if they even make these anymore. I’m the original owner and it’s pretty much been a safe queen. Probably no more than half a tin of pellets have been through it. I also have the original moderator. I’ve been told these guns are super easy...

    Back to the springers

I’ve liquidated most of my PCPs over the last several years in favor of a handful of springers, and those are of the low/medium power variety. However, I would like to acquire an R1 as an example of a early “magnum” springer. I’ve tried some of the true magnum springers (Crow Magnum, Kodak) and...

Why do you still shoot springers?

Like most have already stated, simple to operate and maintain. I’ll also add, I hate things that LEAK!

What is your most 'precise' airgun?

That distinguish would belong to either: A. .177 Thomas (1st gen with electronic trigger) or, B. .22 USFT Hunter # 40 I don’t have substantial quantitative data to support my claim, let’s call it intuition based upon my experience shooting my other guns. The first time I shot a FT match with...

Any Regrets? (Airguns you wish you hadn’t sold)

No real regrets but there were a few I wouldn’t mind still having around: .20 ProSport .20 TX200HC in a beautiful Jan Kraner maple FT stock .177 SLR88 FT Imperator

Seriously rare factory produced piston guns

Very nice. The rarest springer I ever had in my collection was a Theoben Imperator FT SLR88. Can’t remember how many were made, but it wasn’t many that’s for sure.
