now that I think about it, it wasn't and I just looked at where the fill nipple meets the air tube and there are some small air marks where the meet. I've changed that o-ring every 6 months and inspect the new rings for any damage before installing them so I wonder if the air tube is the issue.

My Marauder started out as a .177 doing 30-35 fpe. Now its in .357 doing 220fpe(with a lot of custom work) . So what I'm saying is that the marauder is so flexible, the possibilities are endless.
