    Benjamin Marauder Field Target

If buying a used gun is there a way to determine if the barrel is Crossman or Lothar Walther?

    Benjamin Marauder Field Target

Thanks everyone for all the advice. I'm an advocate of getting good parts rather than buying several sub par parts before buying the one you should have gotten in the first place. I've gone the route of buying cheap and pouring a lot of parts for modification and ending up with a product that...

    Benjamin Marauder Field Target

The 16-18 grain pellets at 900 fps would probably work. The first duty the airgun will see is rodent control. I don't want to be limited to just that as I expect there's a very reasonable chance I just might enjoy target shooting as well.

    Benjamin Marauder Field Target

I would expect to be able to work on whatever air gun I wind up with so figuring how to do it, how things work is all part of the game. Just trying to find a good air gun to start with.

    Benjamin Marauder Field Target

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping it would be a bit simpler and less costly, but not at all surprised. Good parts that work cost a bit more. It's sounding like it may be simpler to go with a non regulated gun to start with.

Hi, I was wondering if the regulator on the Marauder Field Target can be easily removed and the gun used as a conventional Marauder? Looking to buy used and bumping up the energy a bit.

Woodard63 and scubajeeper, Ya, that's what I was afraid of. I used to shoot rifles a lot more but hardly shoot at all anymore, there's pretty limited places to shoot around here. I believe there's more places to shoot air rifles.

    Entry Level PCP Airgun Questions

Thanks for all the replies. I’m not dead set on a .25 and would consider a .22 as well. I’ve never used a side lever, but the advantages seem obvious. TMH, yes I did mean to say moderator, not a break. I need that “back yard friendly” sound levels. For cost consideration I’ll probably look...

    Entry Level PCP Airgun Questions

Greetings, I’m beginning my search for a PCP air rifle. I will use it initially for pesting. I currently have a Benjamin blue streak and am looking at upgrading to something that will mount a scope, and muzzle break. I would anticipate I’ll probably use it for more than pesting. I was...

Testing some Reasonably Priced PCP Rifles - Avenger and Cayden

Great review. I'm in the market for a budget PCP right now so this was very helpful.

Just wondering what twist barrels are best with the slugs in .25 cal.?

    Dry nitrogen

Just wondering what kind of pressures you are getting with nitrogen? Most of the shops that fill for welding supplies only fill to 2,000 psi around here.
