    Traditional Rifle Benjamin 342

Selling a 342 in excellent condition, with minimal wear on the metal and no dings or scratches on the refinished walnut stock. Has a Bemjamin 273 peep sight mounted; original rear sight included. Always stored with 2 pumps and holds air forever. This was made in 1982, so it has the Racine...

    Multiples of the same rifles

I had three Sheridan Blue Streaks until recently, but I just sold one and I'm about to sell another one. I also have two HW30's.

    Sheridan Sheridan storage

Yes, two pumps in mine. I guess the practice is supposed to keep contaminants out of the valve(?) during storage. Guns with the "Steroid" mod require four pumps.

    Sheridan Blue Streak Help

Is he still in business? His website is down, his FB hasn't had any activity in months and ppl say he hasn't been answering his phone.

    Picked up another Bluestreak!

I have owned 5 streaks. I had one that needed seals, so as long as I was sending it in for repair I figured I may as well get the Steroid treatment: more power and better parts. IMHO, it wasn't worth it. The gun didn't gain much additional power per stroke. Also, Streaks already have beefy...

How many people can shoot well both right-handed and left-handed?

I shoot fairly poorly with both hands. I am left eye dominant, but shot right-handed with both pistols and rifles. When my vision started getting bad, I had to start shooting left-handed.

    HW 30

??? I'm not sure what you mean, but the galling is superficial and on the exterior of the compression tube.

    HW 30

I have had all kinds of airguns over 60 years of shooting and the HW30s/R7 are my favorite guns. I have two now: one is a blued .22 with an R7 stock and a .177 stainless with a laminate stock. Accurate; easy to cock; very little recoil. BTW, many feel the .22 has a bit less recoil and that...

I think the .20 is the most

I have owned some very accurate .20 guns incl. Sheridans, but I don't think .20 cal is inherently more accurate than .177, or .22, or... And I don't know if the .20 is dead, but there doesn't seem to be a long list of .20 cal guns being made. If I were to guess, I'd say it's a classic supply...

My mistake. I conflated the OP's post with Maxtrouble's. Sorry.

value of beeman peep sight for 13mm weirauch rail

The old Beeman peep was a rebranded Williams FP-AG-TK aperture sight. (A bit of trivia: "FP" stands for Fool-Proof, "AG" is Air Gun, and "TK" is Target Knobs). New ones sell for $70-$80 retail. I have both the TK and the non-TK versions on my two HW30s. I prefer the non-TK on that gun...

    Weihrauch HW55

I have read your posts on different forums and really appreciate the history and photos that you contribute. Whenever I see your posts I want to hunt down a HW55 or older version HW50 of my own.

    Scope for hw 30

I second the opinion that you try a Williams peep sight. I had nice scopes (Leupold and Nikon) on both my 30's, but later put peeps on both of them. Now they're lighter, better handling guns. Also, you may be surprised how accurate peeps can be.

Dare to say it. Maybe your opinion is incorrect and someone will enlighten you.

    HW30s pellet testing

680fps is really smokin'. IIRC my HW30 got up to around 640fps with the 7.33 after the Vortek tune.
