    Focusing at 16X

Tube size has almost nothing to do with light transmission as objective lens size has almost nothing to do with FOV.

    Leshiy 2 Crossman premiers

That's what I was figuring was going on so I stopped trying to get those to group but the Premiers commonly go for $6 a tin of 500 so commonly it's not worth trying to save a few pennies.

    Leshiy 2 Crossman premiers

They are hollowpoints but I have not noticed a difference in how they group vs domes. The Crossman wadcutters in the carton shoot terribly in this gun though, like a shotgun group.

Do polymags fit in your mags okay? I've heard some longer stuff doesn't fit super well.

    Leshiy 2 Crossman premiers

Did some shooting with the L2 today testing what velocity the premiers like. Set the reg pressure to 95 bar and that got me around 695-700 FPS. This was at 35 yards sitting supported with unsorted pellets(pretty sure I had a few dented skirts if the fliers are any indicator. With this tune in 22...

    The chicken protector

Works pretty well focusing it can be a pain, it does cut down on the light quite a bit so you might need more illuminaton than normal. More magnification=less light.

    The chicken protector

This setup has been very good for defending the chicken coop from pests. Leshiy 2 250 .22 West Hunter 3-12x44 L3 Filmless pvs 14 Cheapo adjustable illuminator.

    Tuning Marauder Pistol tuning

Update: I installed a lane regulator set to 1200 psi and one of those Malaysian straight pull breaches. Still have the bstaley mod but went to a standard hammer spring. I decided to leave the gauge block in place so I can pick up the gun and see if I had some air in it. Very happy with the...

    Tuning Marauder Pistol tuning

650 should be good I don't really plan on shooting this past 75 ever I have a 25 bobcat set up for that. Just want a very compact little gun that can drive tacks and shoot pests out to 50 yards

    Tuning Marauder Pistol tuning

I was planning on regulating my marauder pistol and was thinking about how to properly tune the valve/hammer for proper plenum usage. My first thought was to use something to limit the air in the unregulated cylinder down to the plenum size. (I think on the Huma it is about 5cc) I did some math...

Yongheng Compressor Break In? Compressor Oil?

I use synthetic compressor oil and ran it for a half hour with little load until the oil turned dark then changed it let it cool. After that I went to fill all 4 of my guns and a 45 cubic foot tank to 4500 psi. All took about an hour and a half with coolimg times(only using 2.5 gallons of water)

Evanix sniper.... and evanix airgun support in general

I just bought a "used" Sniper K in .357 and I'm getting 770-750 fps with the JSB pellets and awesome accuracy at 50 yards. The air venturi 90grn bullets are okay but a 1.5 inch group at 50 isnt great for me. Also just bought a Donnyfl Emperor that I havent tried out yet.

Got Some Help Sort of Diagonally

I believe when you are on max spring power it can cause standard deviation to go through the roof, like up to 60 fps shot to shot.

    Recommended Optics for .25 Bobcat

I looked at your video and it looked like the scope at 15x had some major chromatic abberation (primary colors separating) and I have that problem with my 2.5-10 at 10 power. Looking to try amd get rid of that weird quirk. Is it worse on the camera than in person?

Group size determined by several "close pellets" in a PATTERN of fliers??

I mean, there is a such thing as "called fliers" but usually thats at further range and you call what direction you pulled the shot. Thats how I keep myself honest at least. But the gun can have fliers and that isn't your fault and should be counted as part of the group.

    Recommended Optics for .25 Bobcat

Hi I'm Dakota this is my first post. Im looking for a scope to replace my Vortex PST 2.5-10x32 looking for something with more magnification and the obvious airgun related features like paralax adjustment. Im a stickler for high quality glass so the sub $400 variable magnification scopes usually...
