That is true. As you can see from the results not many of the projectiles open up properly during the first 1.25 - 1.75" inches based on the cavity they left. Also for medium sized game skin adds extra variable and sometimes causes hollowpoint to fill up with skin material causing it not to open...

The block was created from normal food grade gelatin with mixture rate of 10%. I will sure test Hades in .25cal when they're available!

That is exactly the case. Within range of, let's say 75 yards, it's hard to beat hunting pellets. At some platforms slugs may give better accuracy at shorter distances than pellets and the choice is obvious then, but that is usually not the case. Of course when shooting past 75 yards, better...

For .25cal 36gr ratsniperslugs were very accurate to 100 meters. 31gr h&n grizzly bullets work also very well to longer distances, just remember to calibrate them. Here's some footage with 31gr h&n grizzly: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SZY58xeZyhA

Thanks @mtnGhost Regulator is maxed to around 150bar. Bigger plenum should definitely help and I think the barrel which is 22" now, is too long for the pressure/plenum combo. For the stock plenum and reg maxed out, I think optimal barrel length is around 18".

You're comparing apples to oranges. Slugs are for sure better than any regular pellet if you shoot past 100 yards.

EDgun Leshiy is great with ratnsniperslugs 31gr (around 750fps) and 36gr (around 700fps). Both are capable of 1-1.5MOA @ 100 yd on a calm day. Kalibrgun Cricket works great with H&N 31.5gr grizzlys (around 870fps), 1MOA capable @ 100 yards on a calm day

Yep you're right, the fps is low for the barrel length, main reason being the regulator plenum size, which is not meant for larger calibers. Probably by increasing the barrel length from this point will decrease the velocity or doesn't affect at all as the pressure behind the pellet is very low...

Here goes another EDgun Leshiy with custom barrel. The barrel is 7.62/.30cal and is 22" long. Around 790fps with 44.75gr JSB's. It is pretty hard to shoot and very hold sensitive because of the front heaviness that comes with the long barrel. Not the most accurate gun out there, but still lot's...

Those are probably rebranded Eley magnums. Unfortunately they're discontinued..

This is very interesting as the amount of POI shift is that much. How much shift there is at 100 yards? Can you also share dimensions of the bullet and/or pic? The calculators don't always reflect to real world with sub-sonic projectiles. For example in my .223 airgun, 51gr NOE spitzers out...
