I have the 6.8L, the 3L and the 9L you mentioned. No problems with them at all-- seem high quality.

I too wanted extra quiet.. so I went and got the 6.5 inch extender for the Emperor! Works great on my .25 Crown and amazing on my .22 PP700! Suppressor is longer than gun, but that's ok.

I was able to go up to 19.5 fpe (~15 shots) by tweaking reg, hammer spring and transfer port screw (forgot about that one!). With heavy JSBs it does 21.x or so FPE.

I just tweaked the regulator and hammer spring and get 743fps/19.5fpe with .22 Hades. If I shoot some heavy JSB it'll do 21/22 fpe. That's 743 with around ~15 shots before really starting to drop.

My Vevor made the output air stink, but not the room. I used Royal Purple as well. Use a Shoebox now and it has no detectable smell.

I put a piece of paper over it, poked some nails through the holes, then took the paper off and used it as a guide to nail the 2 nails into a bit of wood. I then used that small block of wood to unscrew the end cap. Later I got a spanner which works just as well.

A PCP is surely the way to go. Even a <$200 Maximus wouldn't have issues at that range. I also have a AirHawk and there is no way I'd try at 40 yards, especially if I had a PCP (ANY PCP) handy. I'd feel comfortable even using a $200 PP700 PCP pistol/carbine with a scope at 40 yards. ...
