Huben ATTN: For those wanting a moderator adapter for the GK1

Based on this image Zach sent me he should have plenty available. Ready for the finish.

I was thinking about giving the BSA a try as well. The Burris 2X is decent, owned one in the past.

Huben ATTN: For those wanting a moderator adapter for the GK1

NE airguns says they don't know when they will get the adapters from Huben so I'm in for one as well.

Has anyone tested the range in full turns on the power screw from closed to full open. I'm assuming the power screw should mechanically stop at the point it is fully open? (and not fall out o_O).

Uh-Oh that means stealth mode in the backyard for awhile.

Mine is on the way from NE as well. They emailed that the moderator adapters would be mailed separately.

Yep New England got a crate full of them. Hopefully I'm in the first batch.

Huben GK1 sights: open or optics?

I'm going to start with this. Hard to go wrong for $60. I've got a Burris pistol scope on my Ruger Blackhawk I can try as well.

I decided to roll with the Huma MOD30 after seeing FLgunner's setup. I like the modular design and I'm running a red dot so sight clearance shouldn't be a factor. Now to find a good bag for it, not a fan of the hard cases.

I cancelled my preorder with that Spanish shop and kept my pre-order with New England. Less expensive over all and don't have to pay in full upfront to get the "discount". They emailed me and expect their first shipment next week.

What's everyone thinking for a suppressor for the GK1. I've got a DonnyFL Fatboy I use on my rifles but I think it might be a bit big. Want a balance of functionality and looks.

What's the consensus about these? Wait to see if the current offerings fit the pistol? After reading that last post link it looks like the interface to the stock varies and the pistol could be different as well.

    Compressors Yong Heng pump **FREE**

Background on this unit: purchased in 2018 and used for 2-3 hrs filling a small bottle. I got back into the sport this year and the YH was working fine until it lost pressure during a long fill on a 6.8L bottle. The unit runs fine and it isn't making any noises that would lead me to believe...

I got my Western Airguns Sidewinder back from repair service.

Rather than wait for AoA to get some Sidewinder barrel shrouds in stock I made my own. These tubes on Amazon are the exact same dimensionally as the OEM shroud and the DonnyFL adaptor fits it perfectly. I bought some plastic plugs and drilled one to the exact same size as the OEM bushing. I...

    Spray & pray . . . .

Maybe with some practice. I guess it flys in the face of what most people enjoy, the precision experience of air gunning. I suppose if one was up close varmint shooting and didn't have time to aim but that's not very responsible either. I'm fine with the semi-auto part but I get it, there is...

    Spray & pray . . . .

I tried the full auto feature on my Sidewinder 30 for the first time and I guess surprised was the best way to describe the experience. It makes a hell of a racket, cycles faster than I expected and gives a pretty decent push from a standing position. Reminds me a bit of a Sig MP9, a rolling...

I got my Western Airguns Sidewinder back from repair service.

The OEM moderator assembly is pressed into the CF barrel shroud so tightly (or possibly glued) on my rifle that I could not get it out. I talked to a tech at AOA and he said some of them are this way. I'm going to get another barrel shroud when they get them back in stock and use that one with...

I got my Western Airguns Sidewinder back from repair service.

I have everything off the barrel I just can't get the shroud off the moderator & OEM adapter. Need to get my new adapter into the shroud, screw that assembly onto the barrel and then my Fatboy onto the new adapter. It appears the AOA adapter just press fits into the shroud.
