I have a .22 FX Wildcat MKIII Compact (500mm), my gun has 300-400 pellets through it since new. I want to change it over to a .177 (barrel/mag/probe) and I would like to make an even swap with someone that wants .22 instead of .177 I would also consider swapping the entire gun.

All good advice, thank you. Twice I thoroughly checked the valve rod & hammer WITHOUT removing them, but they all "seemed" to function perfectly. I suppose I really do need to remove the hammer spring to check it, I was hoping to avoid the full tear down. No oil/lube was introduced to this...

I opened the regulator to check it and all the o-rings seemed hard & squared, so I replaced all o-rings and re-adjusted it as I had it previously. It made no difference. Currently with a 200 bar fill, and 130 bar adjustment on the back gauge, I am getting 589fps on a 25gr JSB. So.... nothing...

C1 is tight, never removed ever. Which "delrin piston" should be changed? Thankx guys.

Thank you all for your good suggestions. The C3 sure seemed like it may have been the problem from what I read, but it wasn't the issue in my case. I just opened it all up and my O-ring is in pristine condition.

Perhaps I did not make myself clear. The gun changed fps BY ITSELF from sitting. I am not seeking a tune or how to adjust it, I had it running great, but after sitting the fps dropped in half now, so something is sticking or deteriorated. I'll check C3 for wear, thank you.
