    Diana Springer Shooting Technique

When I bought my first serious airgun in 1984 the owner of the shop told me how to shoot it. He warned me not to tuck it into your shoulder like a firearm. Hold it lightly to your shoulder and cradle the forearm in your palm. Like any gun, gently squeeze the trigger until it fires. Let the gun...

    Buying used rifles

I have bought several from AOA and have no regrets. All have been in good working order and have found their condition ratings to be fairly accurate.

Anyone else in your house as into AG as you?

Sadly, not really. My son would be but he's 39 and more focused on work and a budding relationship so at this point it's only me.

    HW/Weihrauch HW35E-Great Rifle

I too for whatever reason resisted pushing the button on my now favorite hw35 in .177. I've shot with the stock open sights but only recently installed a peep sight.

Have you found that “ One Airgun”?

If I had to pick only one of mine to last me the rest of my day's it would be my Webley Senior in .22. The reason being it is built like a Sherman tank, all parts are machined steel with the exception of the bakelite grips and silicone breech seal. Even the piston has a split bronze ring to...

    What are you guys shooting?

Those are really cool reactive targets. My area is loaded with blackberry bushes... I never thought of sticking them to a piece of cardboard, duh! Great idea, bugs and other critters clean up the mess. Thanks for sharing

Crosman Taken in a new orphan today

Yes I am. Whoever owned it adjusted the trigger really nice, I don't have a Guage... it's probably around 2lbs. The sight is adjusted just right. I'm surprised at the weight but I'm a two fisted pistol shooter anyway.

Crosman Taken in a new orphan today

Just about all of my recent purchases have been pre-owned. The criteria is it's usually a gun I missed out on when they were in production and I look for one that was well cared for. Not necessarily in mint condition, I rather it was well used. Heres some pics of my Mark1, final variant.

How many of you have been holding off on new ags?

I always had the interest in airguns but there were too many other things going on like work, kids, bills etc. Now that I'm retired there's more time, fewer commitments and more cash. So when I see a pre-owned that I had once wanted and fits into my budget I'll pick it up.

Found someone's handy work in my garden today

If it's the house/family I suspect there are 3 boys that range in age from 12 to 19. There's a service road that runs along the back of the yards. The 12 year old walks around quite a bit. They're new to the neighborhood... no harm, no foul I was doing the same thing when I was his age. I'm...

Found someone's handy work in my garden today

I noticed a dead starling below my lavender today. At first I assumed a cat got it but it wasn’t torn apart, cats usually toss their prey around a bit. The bird was in perfect shape except for a 1/2 inch exit hole near its vent. Upon closer inspection I saw what probably is a small entrance...
