I have the same problem. i tried the heat method but couldn't unscrew the air stripper. not enough to grab on as you said. ill try the lock-tite method . hope it works. 

My Impakt MK2 .25cal PP doesnt have an oring or any groove in the Jam nut.

i have the mk2 pp .25cal bought on Feb 2020 and doesnt have orings in the jam nut.

with my old 600 slug liner i had perfect results with the jsb mk2 @ 905 fps 1/2 inch at 100 meters NO wind. switched to nsa because the jsb dont like wind. so far the nsa 26.8 shoot better than the 29.5 and i will soon test the 33.5gr @ 920fps

Yes sir you are correct. Im happy to see that we have the same twist rate. FX had a bad reputation in some older batch liners. As some say, they had same length liners same caliber/name but with different twist rates. Factory error...

Thank you for the info. My liner doesn't say heavy on it. Just smooth twist Superior. Can you please measure the twist rate?

Because i was born in Chicago Illinois and i also have a summer house abroad.

im currently shooting the NAS 29.5gr at 1000fps with 2-3/4 inch at 100meters. not as good as i hoped. I also tested the NSA 26.8gr at 1045fps with 1-1/2 at 100m and im waiting for the NSA 33.5gr to arrive for more testings . 

The liner i have is the .25cal 700mm and the twist rate is 1:18

I recently received the superior heavy slug liner. The twist rate is 1:18 for the .25cal 700mm

Can you please ask your friend if the liner said ST Superior heavy OR just ST superior? Or if it had any indication that distinguish the Heavy from the Standard?

Hey all, i need some info from anyone that owns the new FX Superior Heavy liner in .25cal for the fx impact. I ordered from krale the old Slug liner A, but at my house arrived a liner that had the Smooth twist superior sticker on it. It didnt say Heavy or standard, just Smooth twist superior...

Edosan thank you for your replay bro so also the UNF thread must be changed? I thought the thread is the same in all impacts, or is the mk2 different.?
