I just picked up a used .22 -1000 and the rifle is shooting a JSB Jumbo Heavy 18.13gr at 852 fps. Does this sound about normal? The manual does not have a lot of information about tuning the rifle. Any information on pellets and tuning would be greatly appreciated.

i have removed and replaced my bottle many times playing with regulator setting. Sometimes I get a cracking or popping sound like when you step on packaging bubble wrap. Has anyone else experienced this and have any idea what might be causing the problem?
