I think for your intended application it would be hard to beat a Leshiy Classic. They are about as rugged as you're going to find imho.

My early M3 was leaking from one of the four trigger guard screws due to an internal manufacturing defect. Like you described, I had a very hard time finding my leak as it wasn't in a common area.

The motion activated security lights kicked on just as I was reaching for my gun. I couldn't have planned the whole series of events if I tried. Sometimes things just work out I guess.

Thanks guys. I'm honestly surprised he didn't take off when I opened the window. He was to preoccupied quarreling with my cats to notice. He only looked up when I whistled at him. Things have been quiet since so hopefully that's the end of the late night commotion.

I think you've been given lots of good advice by some knowledgeable shooters. The only thing I would add is make small adjustments, and make them one at a time. It's easy to get carried away when so many things can be tweaked in a hurry.

M3 has my vote for now. I've been decimating my local chipmunk population these last few weeks.

Beer, coffee, airguns. This thread has everything. Add in a good cigar and you have a party.

My favorite is my only lightweight airgun. Wildcat MKII Compact.

I've always used them because they don't hinder performance. I can't say I've noticed a huge difference, but as stated above, a sunshade does offer another layer of protection for my optics.
