I was the same way when I first got my maverick. Started seeing others achieve results I wanted and the slope got slippery 😂 the 18 gr .22 really are the sweet spot for most guns but I’ve started upping my compact to 25 grains to see how far I can touch some pigeons.

Do I need to degas to mess with the screws? I’ve read the a team tuning guide but they don’t mention whether or not to degas before starting.

Degassing tool is ordered but quickest it gets here is a week… guess I got ahead of myself.

Chronograph acquired. Hex set acquired. Degassing tool.... not acquired. I am sure I need one but seeing as I don't have it in hand right now what can be done without one?

I’m more inclined to go this route. I’m going to buy a chrono which I would need anyway for a regulator and see what I can get out of my stock marauder.
