    Maintenance FX Wildcat

Well, I received my new Wildcat MKI Huma regulator from Utah Airguns a day earlier than expected and placed it in the air tube. So far I have no leaks and I’m back in business. I’ll watch the pressure over a few days and make sure there is no drop. I raised the elevation two clicks to dead on at...

    Maintenance FX Wildcat

Well I got the Huggett disassembled and cleaned. I blew out a lot of dust from the pads with an air compressor, washed all of the parts, dried and reassembled. Hopefully that will improve performance for another decade.

I’m still playing with tools for sure. Thanks for the well wishes (wife has survived breast cancer and recovered so we’re grateful)and hope the best for you as well. Here is a plasma cut I did for fun from a 24x36, 3/8 steel sheet I found

    Maintenance FX Wildcat

After 9 years with my FX Wildcat I’m due for some maintenance. I’ve shot it straight out of the box with great accuracy with over 2000 squirrels harvested. Recently it has started leaking from the small atmospheric hole in the air cylinder. I ordered replacement o-rings from captain o-rings and...

It’s a Browning BAR mark III DBM. Detachable 10Rnd box magazine. Can use 20 Rnd as well. And FX Wildcat .22 with silencer.

Squirrel has eggs and lead for breakfast

I caught this deranged juvenile with his back legs hanging out of my bluebird box. I thought he was just checking it out, but he sat on top and started eating an egg. He went for another and I popped him. Picture is exit wound from the skull top. FX Wildcat 45 yds. I seriously didn’t know...

    Shop fun. Black walnut

Well they are hard to pass up. I’ve got a single six as well, and bearcat, lcp2, mkIII, but I just couldn’t resist at that price. It’s 1/3 of most of those.

    Shop fun. Black walnut

Moog, grabagun has them at a good price (about $219)and $8 shipping! It’s going to be my John boat fishing side arm. Probably with shotshells and subsonic shorts.

    Shop fun. Black walnut

I I decided to replace the plastic on this Ruger wrangler birdshead with some black walnut. Nice little inexpensive shooter when you’re not slinging pellets.

On a brighter note this little quarter sized cutie made an appearance as well.

    Heads up

I have eaten rattlesnake fried(southern thang) at our wild game supper. It’s nice looking white meat and not bad. ‘Proverbially’ a lot like chicken. Snakes are fairly easy to clean. The entrails were nicely bagged and strip out easily leaving a ‘tenderloin’ type piece of meat. I really don’t...
