Daystate Delta Wolf - Why isn't it more popular?

Im 64. A lifelong industrial electrician for the past 25 years at a major utility. Electronics can be reliable! But in no fail situations there is redundancy and cheap parts are not usually used. Airguns are probably not comparable. If a board fails you probably can't fix it without a...

Field Target is an arms race.

Thru the years scopes have improved mostly in the ranging department. With some good ones being discontinued. About the only way I see for the sole race war to stop. Would be a marked distance or the use of rangefinders. Im sure that won't happen but there would be more new shooters able to compete.

    Daystate Wolverine reseal

I got a quote for a reseal. $260 - $280 that may be a reasonable cost for the service. But I will buy the parts and do it myself. Out of laziness I wanted to get it serviced. I am NOT complaining about AOA just passing on a quote for anyone that wonders.

N/A Which of your airguns would you choose for a 60yd target for only one shot?

I have thought about getting rid of my Evol paradigm. It's kinda big and bulky for my wants. But I have grabbed it either 4 or 5 times this year when critters attempted to get our chickens. Shots between 60 - 80 every shot connected. I have confidence in my Taipan but the scope is better on the...

Taipan What would you do with this Taipan cheekpiece and scope ring combination?

I copied Scott I used grip tape on the cheek piece and on the bottom so I don’t worry what I rest it on. I do have a smaller scope on it now

Daystate ֍ Huntsman Revere —vs.— ֍ Wolverine R

I tried posting this earlier. But my post got mingled with another post. Odd. I have a Huntsman non reg 177 and a wolverine R 177 Both are very comparable in accuracy. The Wolverine gets a lot of shots. I had a hard time making it thru a FT corse without filling the Huntsman. I can shoot the...

    Diy nockdown targets

Those are a pretty cool design. It shows you can make targets without access to a plasma cutter and welder. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Other Just how much must I pay for "Accuracy" in a PCP gun?

I haven't read each post closely just skimmed thru. Something I will add is. What do you want the gun for? You can have a gun that shoots a pellet that is maybe less than 600 fps that can shot lights out at 30 yards punching paper. like my P Rod But that gun may be useless for shooting a...

What kind of solvent should be used to clean a air rifle?

I had a bottle of Ballistol that had a bad cap. Stored inside 70-75 degree constant. After a short while the liquid crystallized. I have worked maintaining equipment for the past 45 years. I have seen lots of oils get hard. But never this fast. I no longer use Ballistol. Watch out with Kroil it...

    Why would you sell?

Something I have been guilty of several times is keeping something till the value goes way down. It would make more since for me to sell things I dont use. But I never learn.
