I would go to a flea market and see if you can get a big nitrogen tank for a good deal first. That's what I did. I haven't set mine up yet but I found one for only 30 bucks. I think you can just exchange them like propane bottles right? 

Don't get discouraged by all this. Go take your hunter safety course in the state you plan on hunting and they will explain all this in the course. It's a good place to ask questions as well if your having difficulty figuring it out.

I know nothing about Canada but each state of the USA has its own rules. In Canada you can hunt private land with permission, blm land and national forest. You need to check fish and game regulations for each state and specifically look up the laws for hunting the particular game you are after...

If you are going for ultimate accuracy I suggest the pellet but if your going to slugs to get a harder hitting hunting ammo there is no need for a new barrel. I shoot 49g NSA slugs in my 25 cal condor and it's fine. I don't think a stock talon has enough power to justify a slug but with condor...
