FX Lock this thread please- Discussed with Fredrik, there is no evidence of POI shift in FX barrel liner system

A carbon fiber sleeve has corrected a lot of POI shifts for forum members so I'm not sure F.A. is getting the right input. Glenn in Texas

    Left Handed FX King

I'm wondering how FX is going to accomplish this? I ask because I'm a southpaw who might order one. I know they'll reverse the grip and probably put the butt pad and cheek riser adjustment buttons on the other side, but I'm curious about the cocking lever, gauges and the recess where the cocking...

    Fx BOBCATS??

I'm pretty sure the Bobcats come with the original Smooth Twist barrel which is great if you plan to stay with pellets. Not really a slug shooter. Glenn in Texas

    Vulcan 3

I bought the same gun late last year. Here's a tune that's worked well for me. Set the reg at 160 bar and move it to the "forward" location in the air tube (largest plenum), then install the "power spring" from Talon Tunes, $19.95 I think. With the hammer spring turned most of the way in, you'll...

Does anyone smell a MK4 coming down the road?

Eventually, I think the Panthera receiver, barrel and forward bottle will find it's way into the Crown....and other "non-bullpup" iterations. More power without having to go with barrels longer than 500-600mm. Glenn in Texas

SKOUT Epoch - First shots right out of the box!

Not that short thick barrels have much of a harmonic problem, but I'd still mount the chronograph somewhere else.

Vulcan 3 upgrade kit from AAO

I should add that my reg is mounted in the "high power" position. Cheers, Glenn

Vulcan 3 upgrade kit from AAO

I have the .22 caliber 700mm and for me the solution is the $20 spring that Talon Tunes sells for the gun. It puts me right at 71 ft lbs with 31.2 grain NSA slugs at 150 bar and the gun has great accuracy and a pretty tame firing cycle. I bought the full "Upgrade Kit" but the only thing I felt...

HUMA regulator now offered for Vulcan 3

I emailed HUMA on the 3rd to ask if they were going to come out with a regulator for the Vulcan 3. That night I got a reply that said "keep an eye on our website because they'll be coming soon." Sure enough, the next day it was there so I placed an order. That was on the 4th and today, the 6th...

This is a Safety issue alert

It's a little silly for FX to think everyone who owns a Crown will be using the correct fitting every time they fill the gun. Many guys/gals use their buddy's rig during a hunt or whatever they have on hand at shooting competitions. It might be a dangerous combination. I don't own a Crown, so...

Top finishes at 100Y BR - skill or luck?

I've always thought skill, practice and experience gets you in the top 20, then luck gets you in the money. If the event was held indoors, I think you'd start to see more of a pattern develop when it comes to the order of finish year to year. Glenn in Texas

    Thinkin about a New scope

Take a look at the Athlon Helos Gen 2, 6-24x56 with the 34mm tube. It's FFP and illuminated. Just put one on my Vulcan 3 Long and have really enjoyed it. With 20 moa built into my mount and a 34mm scope tube, I've got elevation adjustment out the wazoo for long range shooting. It's a very good...

Easier Hammer Spring Adjustment on VULCAN 3

I agree with you guys. $1800 guns need to have a lot more adjustability if you're going to compete in today's marketplace. I will say this about the gun, once you overcome this one problem, it's very easy to adjust at the shooting range and it turns into a beast. My 700mm .22 is shooting FX...

Easier Hammer Spring Adjustment on VULCAN 3

If you own a AGT Vulcan 3, you’ve probably wished that adjusting the hammer spring didn’t require taking the stock off of the gun to get to the adjuster and the locking screw. Even before I bought my 700mm .22 V3, I had a pretty good idea of a mod I wanted to try. Some of you guys might want to...
