this brings me to my next problem, most of the scopes under $250 are all second focal plane. If I am using a mild scope, those mildots will only be accurate at full power? That is something I don't want.

I don’t have to get that exact fpe but if I can get somewhat close I would be happy. What about a magnum Gamo or Diana ? I assume the magnums won’t be that easy to shoot tho.

I would like to shoot well under an inch at 50 yards. The gamo urban seems to be able to do that. Do you think the HW 95 would compete with a gamo urban? I would like to do lots of plinking to distances out past 50 yards on metal spinners, also some hunting as well.
