SOLD - FX Boss .30 caliber. Like new. Not a mark on her.

Why I'm selling the gun is none of your concern. I can, however, assure you that I'm not selling it because it's defective or has any type of problem at all. Nothing has been replaced. I may have shot two tins since I've owned it. (maybe 300 shots). About 40 shots on a fill before running off...

Help me choose a scope for PCP

You are looking at variable power scopes. They are all going to be heavy due to the number of glass elements in the tube. If you need light weight, fixed power scopes are going to be lighter. Hawke sidewinder fits your criteria, except for weight. Leupold 6.5-20x40 meets the criteria, IF you can...

Since everyone is looking for the best bang for the buck in optics

Some of you will laugh this off. Others, if smart, will give it a try. The Barska Swat IR 6-24x44 second focal plane scope. I bought one of these over 10 years ago. Mounted it to an Anschutz MPR 17HMR. Back then I paid 179.00. I was amazed by the sharpness and clarity, The scope even tracked...

It is not your job to try to figure out why this post exists. Now is it Colonel Sanders?

    Chairgun

Chairgun is worthless. It's wildly off in many cases. For instance, I plugged in a rimfire projectile with the ballistic coefficient obtained from my chronograph, at two known ranges, and then used a 25 yard zero. Scope height calculation is correct. Chairgun showed a 7 inch drop at 100 yards...

HOT DEAL on new LAMINATE 177 FX Wildcats for $999.00 at AofA !!!

Of course it is. FX gave you a barrel liner and then claimed its an innovation. Barrel liners have been around for decades. There is nothing innovative about it. Before the X barrel , FX gave you Smooth Twist in a real barrel and claimed it was an innovation. It was.

Cricket Bullpup .25 POI shift, Help please

If a gun shot exactly the same from day to day under any and all variables, there would be no need for windage adjustments on scopes. No need for sighters in benchrest competition. There is no such thing as set it and forget it. No gun shoots exactly the same from day to day. It could be dead on...

    FX Impact x 177 finally arrived,but a big disappointment

Get it with the Smooth Twist BARREL,,,,,,,,and not the X barrel LINER. FX went from a very accurate proven barrel, to this un-proven, very thin and flimsy, held in by o-rings, X barrel liner that has exhibited accuracy problems. I have two guns that both have the True Smooth Twist...

    Hawke Sidewinder TAC 30 6.5-20X42

I too have a couple Hawke scopes. The 3x16-50 with the SR pro reticle, and the Sidewinder 6,5x20-42 half mil. Both decent scopes but not on par with the Leupold 6.5x20-40 EFR. The Illuminated Sidewinder reticle will blind you at dusk, even on its lowest reostat, so it's pretty much useless...

Daystate Red Wolf - 25 or 22 cal

Thank you Sonny. I bought the gun almost 5 years ago. January 20, 2019 will make 5 years.I doubt that it has 1000 rounds through it.

Daystate Red Wolf - 25 or 22 cal

That will depend on the rimfire itself. The ballistic coefficient of a .22 rimfire shooting something like Wolf target is about .125. This is much higher than a pellet. It is FAR FAR less effected by wind and drag. On a calm day the airgun has a good chance of equaling or exceeding the...
