    A High-Tech Brain - Daystate

I don't have the Delta but I have experienced this problem with RW Heritage .22 HP and it was the pellets. Same JSB .22 18.13 gr in low power mode, one in a 500 tin and the other in a 250 tin. It's all over the place at 25 yards with the pellets in the 500 tin while it's almost a single hole...

Warning to anyone that purchases from MAISI and JUFENG

If you need to save a bit, AV compressor is pretty decent. I bought one and it has been flawless for almost a year.

FWB 800X FT or Anschutz 9015 ONE FT

Thanks Scott. I do want the 20 fpe version. For the money these top-flights command, they ought to look and shoot great out of the box. I decided to go back to my original selection and went with the FWB 800X FT long barrel at 15 ft lbs, it has the looks and the adjustments I'm looking for...

FWB 800X FT or Anschutz 9015 ONE FT

Thanks for the info, that's very good to know. I've been talking to Krale about the Challenge FT in longer barrel and 24 Joule version, their gunsmith is not aware of any POI shifts with the Challenge. Not in stock at the moment; it takes about a month to get one - can't beat their price...

FWB 800X FT or Anschutz 9015 ONE FT

Interesting, could it be one bad apple? It's hard to believe it has this kind of problem with the price tag. I throw Steyr Challenge FT in the mix to see who else has experienced it. Thomas FT is gaining favorites but the style doesn't cut for me.

    ?

You can order directly from Michael website, it's cheaper than the price he has on eBay - takes about a week to get here (TX) from UK. I ordered a few times with no hiccup, the first item will cost you 9 pounds for shipping, add a 2nd item will add 2 more pounds...wait until you need to order...

Automotive Glossy Clear Coat on Laminate Gun stock

These are laminate stocks, I think they wouldn't be breathing as much as wood. Tru-Oil is a very forgiving product to work with. I smoothed the finish with 0000 steel wool and sprayed 2 more coats on each; the grains just keep popping after each coat - couldn't be happier with the results. I...

Automotive Glossy Clear Coat on Laminate Gun stock

I went to a couple of body shops, they all hesitated to work on wood. Gave me all kinds of reasons for not to work on the stock. With the stocks already removed, I went ahead with Tru-Oil, not automotive clear coat as initial intention, just because it's much easier to fix if I messed up and I...

That thought had crossed my mind; I probably check them out and weight the options.

got a acecare tank from aliexpress.

I guess I got lucky, I bought 2 sets fill station/tanks - big one first then little one about 4-month apart - both works well for me and still cheaper than buying one set here. Keep in mind they will not fill up to 4500 PSI as advertised, not an issue for me as I have no gun will fill up to...

got a acecare tank from aliexpress.

You should have bought their fill station together with the tank, I did both - no problem at all as the fill station hose fitted with standard female fosters at both ends if you already have the valve for the tank, if not, you will need that too...

Automotive Glossy Clear Coat on Laminate Gun stock

I have proper spray equipment (guns and compressor), don't see this particular product offered in anything but can and it seems a lot of people vowed for it, pros and amateurs. Might give it a go and see how it turns out.

Daystate LC110 is in the house!

I usually bleed from the compressor filter, a lot there. Next time I'll try from the second filter to see. I can tell the combo is doing its job, when I bleed from fill hose, nothing but dry air coming out. With this filter, you can eventually fill a scuba diving tank as an added bonus if the...

Automotive Glossy Clear Coat on Laminate Gun stock

Yes, RAW laminate stock (mine in TH grey) is one of the stocks I would like to put a glass look on. I sprayed Tru-oil on one of my project gun, no sanding in between, just 10 layers of tru-oil - it came out shinny but doesn't have the glass like finish. May be I need to apply car polish and...

Automotive Glossy Clear Coat on Laminate Gun stock

Looks pretty good but I wonder if the existing finish is not glossy enough to begin with, sort of a matte finish, can this help?

Automotive Glossy Clear Coat on Laminate Gun stock

Has anyone here tried putting automotive high gloss clear coat on a laminate gun stock? I'm going after the AA FTP 900 super glossy look and I have a couple that I would like to have the glass like finish - HW100 laminate stock for one. I tried Tru-Oil before on wood stock, came out great but...

    Hawke Sidewinder FFP Scopes

Likewise, I wanted to try Hawke FFP and found it's nice for the price. Hawke ED or their Frontier line optic is notch above. Having both now, for me FFP or SFP is not a decision factor when choosing a scope. ED clarity and brightness stays all the way to about 40x, it has the sense of "HD"...

Daystate LC110 is in the house!

I bought this for the AV off eBay, it was 200 bucks now it went up a bit more - double filtration, advertised for breathable air, not sure about all that but sure enough for airguns. Work great so far. I made a little platform with casters to have them all in one place and ease to move around...
