I do fair to midland with my Benjamin Trail NP2 at 50 yards and your choices are far better than what I have. I agree with 30cal, accuracy is far more important than power, that has been proven time and again in the British Isles where 12 fpe is the norm.

If you want to keep track of hours and have better control of your output pressure, it probably wouldn't be too difficult to make an Arduino based control for a shoebox compressor.

I'm seriously considering purchasing an Xcortech X3200 airsoft chronograph to test my pellet velocities. I can get one off of Aliexpress for around $60, I just can't justify $100+ for a chrony to test my air guns. Has anyone else gone this route? What are your thoughts? 

when you are weighing things as light as pellets you need to use tweezers to pick them up, the oil from your fingers can change the weight of the pellet. 1 grain is 1/7000 th of a pound after all.

I have an old Sheridan Blue Streak .20 I bought around '89, I have taken more squirrels and rabbits with that rifle than i can remember. Even with my new pcp rifles I still fall back on the Sheridan, There is just something magical about those cylindrical pellets.
