    Best Groundhog ammo?

I have a .25 pcp (hatSan vectis) and I’m wondering what is the best ammo to use for groundhogs? It groups well with both slugs and pellets. I have polymags and h/n slugs that both group nearly equal. Thoughts and opinions welcome

    Groundhog control options

I’m wondering what the best option for groundhog control would be. I have a .25 Hatsan vectis and 2 different .22 or rifles. All are scoped. The vectis is probably the most accurate of the 3 and is easily the most rugged and least valuable. Will the vectis effectively kill a groundhog? I...

    Hatsan Vectis

A little old but was wondering how you modified yours? I like the look and quieter is always better

    Best .22 break barrel?

Am I crazy or has the used market completely disappeared? I have not been able to find a single rx2 or asp20 anywhere. Even new ones seem to be hard to find. I've decided on one of those 2, now it's just a matter of finding a reasonably priced one.

    Best .22 break barrel?

Thanks for the feedback. I’ve been looking at the suggestions, the hw 90/beeman r2 are great but way over what I wanted to spend. So I’m thinking either the Hassan 135, sig asp, or Diana 460. So, narrowing down the field, which of the 3 would you say? Also, is .25 much of a step up from...

    Best .22 break barrel?

I have an fwb 124 that I use for fun, plinking and targets. Also have a .177 marauder. I want a .22 and I want a break barrel. I want .22 mainly for possibly killing pests, maybe up to a raccoon size. Break barrel because of the ease of decocking. I’d be shooting at most 30 yards. Given all...

i want a pcp rifle with open sights

If you have the standard marauder you could get a dovetail to Picatinny rail and then put a set of Picatinny open sights on. I would look for the longest rail possible so you have the longest sight base possible. There are a ton of options, something like this...

    Anything better than a bugbuster?

Follow up, sightmark sent me back what looks to be a brand new scope. No questions asked, no hassle, highly recommended!

    Anything better than a bugbuster?

I’m going to be able to report back on sightmark warranty. So far I’m very happy with their customer service, I contacted them yesterday and already have an RMA and sent it back to get looked at. The ocular adjustment was shifting and when I looked closer it seems like the threads aren’t...

    Anything better than a bugbuster?

Finally had a chance to try my sightmark core, it’s exactly what I was looking for. I wanted simple, my shooting ranges from 10 to 30 and even without an adjustable parallax this scope is easy to use. The one issue I seem to be having is the the ocular adjustment was shifting as I used it so I...

Which would you pick and why?

I went back in my email to see where and when I bought it. I was wrong, wasn’t half off. Got it from Walmart for $130 last year, early 2019.

Which would you pick and why?

Thanks all. Sounds like I’m keeping the sightron! The discovery i bought mainly for price, didn’t do much homework on it. The sightron i bought because it was a close out deal and nearly half off. Guess i got lucky!

Which would you pick and why?

I didn’t realize about the warranty. The side focus and bigger objective of the discovery don’t seem as good as a lifetime warranty. How good are Sightron at honoring it?

Which would you pick and why?

I have found myself with more scopes than rifles so I am going to sell one and keep one. Between these two which would you pick and WHY would you pick it? It’s going on a .177 marauder, mostly target amd plinking but occasional hunting and pesting. Max range is around 35 yards. scooe 1...

Astigmatism and red dots and optic recommendations

Update to my original post, went a different direction and bought a sightmark core crossbow scope. Small, simple, light weight and holds up to spring gun recoil.

    Anything better than a bugbuster?

I decided to try that crossbow scope, seems like exactly what I wanted. Ordered amd should get it in a few days, will report back with pictures. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00TOKDYT6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    Anything better than a bugbuster?

I’m wanting a small, light scope for my springer. Short range, no more than 20 yards and able to focus up close. I have a peep on it now. Just wondering if the bugbuster is the best option, I’d like to keep the cost under $200.

Where are the FWB 124Ds as in classics?

Question for all who have a chrono, when i sent mine to John for a tune i just wanted a smooth shooter, wasn’t asking for magnum power. Mine’s shooting 8.44 gr at an average of 787. Is that original or lower than original? I’m happy with it, zero desire to change anything as right now it’s...

Where are the FWB 124Ds as in classics?

The weight is definitely one reason I like it better than my 97, the HW is a heavy SOB! Mine came with the peep, it’s a Beeman so I’m wondering if the original owner ordered it that way. I did replace the front with a truGlow post, slides right on the groove and it’s a little more precise than...
