Crosman PowerShot Fast Flight Penetrator Pellets, .177 Cal, 5.4gr

LOL No, far from it...I'm not even much of a Crosman fan, these days. I'm not concerned about damaging the barrel of this Black Ops rifle, it's just my plinker- I don't think these will cause any damage anyway. These are a sort of sabot'ed round, plastic around what I assume is an alloy...

Crosman PowerShot Fast Flight Penetrator Pellets, .177 Cal, 5.4gr

Hi guys. I'm just sitting here enjoying the cool Texas weather- a rarity in south Texas- and shooting one of my springers off the front porch. I'm just goofing around, shooting at anything that catches my eye- I probably have about 6 acres of space before the trees get too thick. I screwed my...

I Got kicked off an Airgun Forum

Loved the video Joe- as a guy who has been radically rebuilt a few times myself, I feel a bit of a kinship anyway, but being banned for not having a filter when confronted by stupidity cements the deal- we have to be related. I have relatives in Texarkana for sure... :) I tend to be too...

How do you store your gun

I have a gun room, with concrete walls and a large steel door. This is an old picture- probably 8 or 10 years- that I submitted to a sort of contest on another forum. It hasn't' changed too much, except the wood has been painted black and there is now charcoal grey carpeting on the floor. It has...

Companies refusing to ship to your state?

I appreciate the concern fellas, but as an ex-cop with a huge family deeply involved in politics, I would welcome the opportunity to challenge this ridiculous circumstance. I'm not talking about blatantly violating federal law- it is quite legal to ship an air rifle through UPS or Fedex, or even...

Where do you shoot and what do you shoot off of?

I am great at buying things, but horrible at selling things...I never sell or trade guns, ever. I have given them away, but that's the only way they ever leave my collection. I joke about it, but I really do have a problem...luckily we have the space and we do quite well financially, or it could...

Companies refusing to ship to your state?

Hi guys, I have come across several comments that companies are refusing to ship parts or airguns to people, particularly those in Illinois. This makes me very angry, as I'm sure it does many of you. The second amendment is non negotiable. I apologize if this breaks any forum rules, I don't...

Where do you shoot and what do you shoot off of?

Thanks Fuss! I'm a collector addict, I have a huge firearm collection, guitar collection, RC vehicle collection (from truggies to drones) yoyo's, knives, throwing tops, cars, motorcycles....it's a serious disease. With all of my kids in college simultaneously, it has slowed down my acquisition...

Where do you shoot and what do you shoot off of?

That's amazing! I'm very new to this sport, and I'm constantly impressed by the airguns available now. I started getting interested when I read that Lewis and Clarke had carried an airgun, and then after I met a friend who was into this, I was lost, lol I keep trying to downsize my pics in Gimp...

Does anyone know what might be going on here ?

You're going to laugh at me, but just try this. Next time you go out to shoot, lube your first few rounds. Use anything, some guys like Crisco, doesn't matter. Just try it and tell me if it fixes the problem. Then I'll explain- you won't believe me otherwise. :)

Where do you shoot and what do you shoot off of?

I own a ranch in Texas, where I have a 1500 yard range set up. I'll post some pictures next time I'm in town, we're on satellite internet out here which is not only ridiculously slow to upload pictures but which also has a very small upload limit. One of the few downsides to living "off the...

Very nice designs, guys...I love seeing the different approaches everyone comes up with!

    Indoor range designs

I think i'm going to start with a relatively short distance- maybe 7 yards- and build a sort of cradle system to support culvert pipe at bench level, and on the receiving end I believe I'll weld together a version of the system in the above video, posted by BeemanR7. Some 1/2" plate angled into...

    Indoor range designs

Those are all some interesting ideas, thanks guys! I'm intrigued by the culvert pipe idea...you would have not only a safe "range" but also a wind-free environment, a way to remove one of the variables. Add a ransom rest and you could truly check the accuracy of a gun, without most weather...

    Indoor range designs

Hi guys I'm curious about the various ways people have built/are building indoor ranges. Not commercial ventures, just basement or spare room ranges, as far as pellet traps etc. I have a 1500 yd outdoor range here on my ranch, but my hands were frostbitten pretty badly years ago, when I lived in...

Opinions about the Air Arms Galahad?

LOL Bogey47...you can come out and play anytime, if you are near San Antonio or can get there! We'll put a pin in the adoption for now, though... :)

Welcome to AIRGUN NATION - please introduce yourself here!

Thanks Farrah, you're a badass, girl! :) SF! Mike, I have already purchased a stable full of "springers" and one PCP, if folks hadn't told me springers were hard to shoot I would never have known, lol. I do feel the rather odd recoil they produce, but again, it is simply something to be...

Welcome to AIRGUN NATION - please introduce yourself here!

Wow, guys...first, Quoddy, I'm with you 100% on the expense of this sport, it isn't terribly expensive compared to my other hobbies, really, but in the 7 months or so I have been in the sport I have spent almost $5K, far more than I ever thought I would spend on air rifles...8 months ago they...
