82 vs 24 year old 30 yard challenge

At my sisters for Easter weekend. My dad and niece wanted to try the 30 yard challenge. Quite fun to watch them choose a gun then battle the wind. Thanks to whoever thought of the 30 yards challenge. I personally never had an interest in it because it was so close. But add some wind and things...

    These things are challenging

I get a couple moles a year. They are tough because you have to time them. This guy was in my woodpile at 40 yards. No reflective eyes to catch your attention. Just a little black thing slithering in and out of logs. I noticed it was setting a pattern and would hesitate before it would either...

FX FX M-set it and forget it

Figured I would share an overview of a recent project because I think a lot of shooters try to achieve something similar but always have to settle or compromise a little. I’ll try not to bore anyone but I have to set this up. Every year I travel to my camp in another state to hunt deer. I always...

Accessories Someone’s old FX Impact rear block

I need a rear Impact block. Hopefully someone has one lying around from a Power Block conversion.

    Finally back at it (Squirrelin)

I was able to drop a good buck on Saturday so now it’s back to squirrel hunting. The woods are considerably more open now that the foliage is falling. Had to put together a pack for squirrel hunting but forgot to throw in a range finder. Yikes, even with my archery ranging skills, I struggled...

FX New FX liner with a surprise inside

Received a new liner today. After I got done doing what I had to do I decided to clean it before the install. Couldn’t push my chord through it so I had to use a rod. Look what was inside. Anyone else experience this?

RTI Arms shop. Talk about a good laugh.

I placed an order for a mag and bag rider. They came very quickly from across the pond. But they sent the wrong caliber mag. No big deal. Email sent, instructions given about who to return it to, and I did. Weeks go by, no mag. Email sent again with a quick reply saying they will send it. I was...

    How far with a pellet?

I was bored a couple days ago so I took my best 33.95gr shooter and started doing a test but the heat was ruthless. I put a target at 120 yards and 180 yards just to narrow down where I need to focus. At 120 yards my gun was still good. At 180 I think my pellets became little paratroopers. When...

Anyone else have Edgun reg issues?

Every couple months my Lelya goes unregulated. I have to replace my reg orings then it’s fine for a while. Was just curious if anyone else experienced this with a reg in their Edguns.

FX Dreamtac Compact gets a transplant. (From unlikely source)

I’ve had this gun since they invented it. Never sold it because it’s a great pitching wedge. Medium power, pleasure to shoot and no mechanical issues ever. But it’s one weakness is consistency. It’s a pretty darn accurate gun for the most part, but it’s like a crazy girlfriend. You just don’t...

Pellets for sale: in the classifieds

Been thinking about this for a while and finally decided to say something about it. A while ago I decided if I needed some pellets, I would try to buy from a AGN member first. Then buy from a vendor if I couldn’t find what I needed. I did this for a couple months and noticed a trend. Not in all...

    How hard is your head?

I consider myself pretty open minded. I’ve learned that a happy PCP life is much easier when you listen to the gun and don’t try to force it to be something it’s not. Of all my guns, I finally realized I was being hard headed with my Dreamtac Compact. From dual ports when they first came out to...

    Squirrels with warbles

Almost every squirrel I shoot in this area has warbles. The bumps must be itchy because most of the squirrels are going bald around the lumps. This one had 2 lumps and my exit wound blew the warble up. Last year none of the squirrels I shot here had them. Wonder why.

    New 3-12 FFP Compact Scope

I purchased this scope a week ago. Never mounted it. All I did was check the turrets for nice positive clicks, yes. Clear glass, yes. Nice reticle, yes. Can I see the reticle in the woods on 4-5X, no. I have to take my glasses off to see the reticle below 6X. I wanted to return it but am getting...

    Legit Prod Carbine [SPF] 😩

I can’t believe I’m actually doing this but I just have too many guns. I built this Weerod years ago and I just don’t shoot it often enough to warrant keeping it. But at the same time I’m not giving it away because it’s a one of a kind. It’s Huma regulated and has a SSG I built for it. It also...

    Some old RTI Priest love

A couple weeks ago I just had to take a step back from the two guns that have been consuming me. Not too long ago I sold an Impact that the buyer wanted tuned to shoot 33.95 grain pellets. I was shocked at how well and consistent they shot with the bonus of how hard they hit. Those pellets have...

New guy here, happy to join, I think.

I’m a new guy to the forum. Been in the airgun game a long time. Usually spend a ton of my free time fabricating and tuning. But I think I found a new hobby. Learning this forums format. I try to embrace change. If you don’t it seems you’re the only one who suffers.

    It’s Wheelbarrow season again

Had three party’s to attend yesterday and the weather was crap. Got home late and the weather had calmed down so I figured I would do a mouse sweep of my property before going to bed. Was watching a mouse zipping around under a pine tree at 60 yards when suddenly it shot off like a rocket. Then...
