Can spin it regularly with my guns with no wind. Set a can at 135 yards and the train goes off the tracks.

What you did to arrive at 970fps is where your answer lies. Barrel harmonics? Not really. Gun harmonics? Yep.

Regulated guns have their own issues. Go read all the M3 and DRS topics that are reg related. My Edgun Lelya had a chronic reg issue. Actually so do RTI’s and a lot of other guns. Regulated, unregulated, it’s just the PCP life. Some issues from time to time.

The sole reason for my obsession with tuning, all definitions of it, is for this. Be it twisting knobs, screws, fabrication/machining, then sending lead over a chronograph to a target. It’s all about having the best thing to hunt with that’s within my capabilities.

Yes, I believe you do know. I sure hope it isn’t true. It almost makes me want to try to get out of my preorder. And very thankful I didn’t have the opportunity to spend even more on the grade 2 stock.

If they didn’t know, then this is what raises an eyebrow. Before I jump to conclusions, I’ll need more than one guy to confirm that their DRS is a M8. Then I’ll have to be convinced that there was a logical reason that FX had no choice but to go with this thread. It makes no sense right now.

It would be nice for FX to respond about the gauge if it is indeed M8. I know what I’m thinking and I don’t like it. But I’m not going to say anything until this plays out. If nothing is ever confirmed as to why they went M8, then I’m going to assume something.
