Besides the ability to switch between rifle and pistol how do you find the handling between that and a more conventional wooden Stock? Yup, there’s only About 3/8 of wood before the stock bolt. Good luck with your project!

It is lightly glued. I carefully removed it with a sharp edged blade. It isn’t bonded for life just take your time, it came off pretty easily. It’s the screws that really hold it on. Good Luck JoeWillie
