The last rupture I heard of or saw was a fella that had an air tube blow off the end of the gun and made it most of the way through his thigh. There were pics, but these things do happen. Turned out it was an extension he had added on that didn't have correct threads or thread thickness.

If there was no tinkering or modifications done, the manufacturer needs to be contacted immediately. This could be a safety issue due to material defects that weren't caught, and there could be others at risk. I would like to know the make and model, and honestly if it is a big enough...
