3x9x52mm scope is as clear as it can get at 20 yards with the front objective lens set at 15 yards. I can adjust the front objective lens to 100 yards with 3x magnification and it's still clear as a bell. If I increase the magnification over 5, the image gets very blurry set at 15 yards or 100...

I am not suggesting that it is feasible or ethical and I have no intent to try it myself, but I was wondering if anyone had tried exploding pellets on game? I would assume the the soft body on an animal would not allow the pellet to ignite/explode.
