Vector Veyron 3-12x44mm FFP Non-IR on Sale $140.99 +tax TYD

How often do these Vector 3-12 go on sale for a price worth buying? I was just starting to think about a SWFA 3-12 to lighten up a bullpup hunter. These Vectors are lighter and cheaper, but I don't know much about them.

Where did you pick up your Ultra from? Looks great! You have a pretty great collection there, I also really like that HW45.

    Question on fittings

I think it's M12 or M14 on the big end you're looking for. M12 x 1.5 and M14 x 1.5 would be most common, though you can get into 1mm, or 1.25mm thread pitch. I would suggest you go to a Ace Hardware or other home improvement store with a good hardware section. They should have metric bolts...

Safe to dispose of this bottle?

The pressure gauge face is totally busted, which would be a open valve on that tank. I'm very comfortable betting that tank is empty.

    anyone purchase this?

The one cea1960 posted is a "better" model than that cheaper one on Amazon. His has a desiccant filter on the air intake, as well as the outlet. It's basically a little closer copy of the Hill hand pump.

Alternate temp guage for Yong Heng compressor

If you really want a F gauge, I'd strongly suggest swapping out the thermometer for one of the same style in Fahrenheit. Don't bother drilling out the cylinder head to install the temp gauge you already bought. You won't be able to mount it cleanly in the panel because of the overall size...

    Opinions on needed tank size..

You can figure out all the potential number of fills per tank using this calculator. https://www.airgunsofarizona.com/Tanks/FillCalc.html The calculator uses a cubic feet measurement for supply tank size so make sure you're converting your small tanks from cubic inches to cubic feet. Other...

Ordered a MTM HLST High-Low Shooting Table

I built a table with some 3/4 birch ply and Rugged Buddy legs off Amazon maybe 2 years ago. Never quite been happy with it. Now that I see this MTM table, it looks like a pretty nice unit. Please keep us updated when it arrives and your thoughts on it. I'd really like to pick one up for myself...

    How Much Would I Lose?

In my area, the places that provide paintball tank fills won't touch any tanks as large as the 30/45/60 minute SCBAs we use. They only deal with 45-108 cu. in. tanks unfortunately. At this point, I'm fully committed to filling my own tanks mainly because of how much money I have sunk into my...

    How Much Would I Lose?

I'm definitely jealous of you guys that can get $5-10 4500psi SCBA fills. I have to pay $25 here and it's just not worth it when I'm getting shortfilled. At $5-10 a fill, I'd suggest to just stick with shop fills because it will be a longgg time to get your ROI even on a cheap compressor.

    How Much Would I Lose?

I would say it's definitely worth the wait to have them cool the tank and top it off. There's a pretty noticable difference in the number of times you can fill up your rifle from a 4500psi tank compared to like 4100. AoA has a "Tank Fill Calculator" on their website that you can use to get an...

    How Much Would I Lose?

I agree with Tom's figures on pressure loss. In the beginning when I would get my 60 minute SCBA tanks filled at my dive shop, I'd see almost a 400psi short if the shop didn't let the tank cool off and then top back up. 2 instances of that at $25 each and I stopped using the dive shop for...

    Got a big leak.

I just took a closer look at your picture and I realize that you have both the white M10 seal that goes in the female thread AND a dowdy seal (metal washer with a oring in middle. Generally, you will want to use one or the other because I doubt you'll be able to thread your fitting deep enough...

    Got a big leak.

The thread type on that filter and most every other connection on the Yong Heng is M10x1mm. You definitely need those white seals, but I think the problem you're running into is that your current seals have deformed enough to where they won't fit back in, or they might still fit but are too...
