I am thinking if you get a scope for a high powered rifle you should be ok. My Remington 308 has way more recoil than my beeman 22 springer. But I could be wrong. If I am, I hope someone will correct me.

I love my beeman Kodiak dual caliber .177 as well as .22 it comes with a decent scope. I paid $140 for mine from Amazon a few years ago, but Walmart has it for $99.97, just a hair under $100.
