I have two 3D printers. I used my Prusa i3 Mk3 for the above and I also have a Creality Ender 3 Pro. A lot different in price between the two but both work good. Are you thinking about buying a printer?

I use mostly Fusion360. I have played with others but I prefer to stick with fusion.

You may or may not have seen this video Michael but If you watch Matt Dubbers video from a couple of years back with his tour of the FX Factory at the 3:25 minute mark it shows the method the factory uses to check and straighten the barrels. It’s just a simple press jig with a dial indicator...

I priced out Ernest’s RRS tripod setup which I like, but it adds up to around the $1000 mark so thanks for letting us know a cheaper option edosan. The picitinny rail to camera adaptor aren’t very common so I would be interested where you sourced it from? Thanks again edosan.
