Anyone shooting 177 find that shooting higher fps improves accuracy? If so what FPS?

Will shooting lower velocities help a gun be "more accurate"? The boys over in the uk seem to be pretty accurate at sub 12ft.. That makes me wonder will the over all function/recoil/movement through out the shot cycle help the gun (pcp) be more repeatable/forgiving etc.? im not talking pellet...

How do you make your PCP air rifles more forgiving to shoot?

What scope magnification do you like to shoot and why? Do you do your own thing or do you try to zoom so it is a true mildot at 10x so you can use chairgun etc.?

i just did a handful of strings at 3000psi and every increase in hammer spring isnt flattening the curve. im getting over 1000fps currently and the ES is barely coming down. im not trying to shoot that hot, i am curious at this point and want to see where it goes but when i fill it to 2000 psi...

With my Hatsan AT-44 QE 177 and Beeman Chief 2 plus 177, im getting average SD of around 20 over 40-50 shot strings ( i have them both shooting 900ish fps at 2000psi fill pressure ).. What can be done to lower the SD? I want to get the SD as low as i can before i decide where i want to set them...
