FWB Getting used to a 602

Howdy all I’ve been trying to get my new to me FWB 602 dialed in - haven’t bench sighted it in, but have done it offhand and I think it’s pretty close. I have noticed that it does seem to be more hold sensitive than my 835, and I suspect the weight is playing in too. I’ve adjusted it to where...

    Airgun and customs

Hello all I have an FWB 602 on the way from Carel in the Nethelands - it looks like it got to Customs on the 10th - just curious what folks have experienced in terms of time in customs before release. Michael

    First dime-sized group

I realize it may not be that impressive, but it’s my first one. ~7m, 5 shots, offhand with Vogel 8.1 gr wad cutters out of my modified Daisy 853. If only I could do this consistently….

    Umarex Notos and Bug Buster

My shoebox compressor came today so I aired up my Notos and set out to zero in my Bug Buster 3-9x32. This is my first PCP, and I am having a bit of a difficult time with the eye relief on the Bug Buster - I may need to sort out mounts to bring it back further. It seemed like it was fairly easy...

Umarex First PCP - Notos - cleaning question

I got my Notos in the mail today. I wanted to clean the barrel, but I know you’re not supposed to dry fire it without air. My compressor doesn’t arrive until tomorrow. Is it safe to leave it cocked until tomorrow when I can fill it with air? Or should I wait until I can fill the tank? Thanks!

Trying to buy an FWB 602

Hello all Not sure if this is the right forum for this, but figured I'd ask. I've sent Carel several emails about some of his classifieds on AmericanAirguns - one about 5 days ago, and a couple over the last 24 hours - about a prior and current ads. I haven't received any responses. I realize...

    Daisy CMP Referb Daisy 853

I received my referb 853 a little while back. I replaced the stock sights with the Daisy Match versions and added an adjustable iris. On the front, I swapped in the 753 barrel weight and globe. I currently only have about 7m worth of practice space and here’s after a few rounds offhand just...

    Daisy 853 and backstop

Howdy all With the winter months approaching, I got to thinking about being able to shoot my 853 indoors - it’s new to me, so don’t have any performance to point to yet. I was going to throw together a quick backstop - 1x4 frame, 3/4” ply back, filled with shot bags from my shot shell...

    Daisy 853 Barrel Weight

After reading how good of a deal a referb 853 is through CMP, I have one on the way. I was looking to put the upgraded Daisy rear sight on it, which requires the upgraded globe such as the one on the 753 (which would also require the 753 barrel weight.) I've looked, but haven't been able to find...

HW/Weihrauch Hawke scope and BKL mount issue

Howdy all I’ve encountered an issue I wasn’t expecting trying to mount my Hawke scope to my HW97. The center of the scope where the turrets are hits the top of the mount - leaving a little space under the scope tube on both ends - in other words, I can rock it back and forth on the center...

HW/Weihrauch New HW97K and Scope stop pin

Howdy all I did some searching but didn't find what I was looking for. My Brand new HW97K just arrived along with a BKL High 4" long single piece mount (6 rail screws) and a Hawke scope. The HW didn't come with a scope stop pin, and neither did the BKL mount - in looking at the BKL website, the...

    Intro and new HW97k

Howdy all I just wanted to introduce myself. As the subject implies, I’m a new user on the forum. My name is Michael and I live about 30 miles SE of Seattle. I’ve been shooting trap at a few of the local clubs for the last couple of years, but wanted to try something a bit different. I own a...
