I have two Hatsans with vortex pistons. Both failed after very few shots. Both outside of warranty. I found a $7.00 adapter to fit a high pressure pump and fixed both guns by recharging the piston. I added a few drops of pellgun oil when I put the air in. I charged both above 140 bar.
