OK, it's not the fanciest or most expensive rifle but it a lot of fun and I want it to last a long time. The ma ual states to oil the piston and linkage after 250 shots but I have been waiting until I can feel it grating from no lubrication. Am I damaging my rifle?

Back in the '60s when I got my first BB gun (Daisy model 1894) I used to buy these paper tubes of BBs. The tube was red about two inches long and crimped on both ends with a six point star crimp like the old paper shotgun shells. Does anyone remember the brand name?
