    25 / 26 April range visit

The range / steel in the range get more colourful, just got a good deal på florescent pink in rattle cans, so added that to the palette of gong / spinner / backstop colours. Though i had one of those OMG shots again at very little targets ( 6 mm hole ) far away ( 118 M ) but this time shot #1...

    Anyone with Snowpeak M50 experience

My friend gotten a couple of these to fix for a shop, the issue seam to be the nylon seal at the very end of the long plunger like pushrod around the barrel. It is a amazing how much force it will take to compress that spring + hammer spring to load another round in this SEMI rifle. Im like...

Fishing for compressor advice / knowledge

So my 4 CYL Tuxing compressor stopped doing more than 240 BAR on the output. Here is what i think: 1: it can not be the rings or the damn thing would vent down thru the crank case. 2: It cant be a leak to the outside as i would then hear it, at least when i turn off the compressor, this i...

    April 1 & 2 shooting

So 2 days of decent weather so i an now down 1200 13 gr slugs and 350 16 gr slugs. our " needle " target need a little more reward for hitting the little 6 mm lole, and while the shooting gallery chalks work we like a little more visual. So i modded the chalks, meaning the hole in them that...

    A little shooting today

Slinging the little 13 grain Zans 100 yards in the not low wind, well you have to work for what you get, but it is a whole lot better than 13 gr pellets CUZ i tried that a bit later. First segment in my video on the orange top, my friend shooting his M30. Bottom 2 rows me shooting my Two. After...

Want to horde a little O-rings.

But where to get them, most companies i find only sell like 100 min or even 250 for some sizes, and that is a bit more than i want to horde something i will not use very much. And locally it seem even harder, which is just freaky to me even when i mean local as in the EU territory. Where do you...

What is with the FX chrono V2 ?

My friend got one of these, and TBH i am stomped. It will extremely often miss a shot / several shots in a row completely. It will some times ( like 1 in every 5 shots ) list a speed for a shot at least 1/4 of the actual speed of 970 FPS And it have a couple of times barked out a speed of over...

    Your favorite single shot fired

I know you probably have many, i personally get a " feel really good " shot at least once every outing. But i still think some are special. And i just made one of those. So enjoying the comforts of the shot shed, and now long range company as my M8 got a tricked out DRS. Well my friend made a...

    Long DRS in ,177 flavor

My friend got one of these, there just is one problem, i feel it is opening the valve for too long wasting air, though it is reasonable accurate pushing 13 grain slugs. but sound wise it just sound as if there is a lot of waste air, it actually feel as if the rifle have a recoil, though small of...

    Corrosion X

Have anyone tried this for pellet lube ? I just found a can of this in one of my moving boxes and i am thinking about giving it a go on some 13 gr slugs.

    My friend the pest killer

My friend are finally on the ball with his rag time NV scope, he have now shot 2 mice in 2 days and both in the first shot. Maybe it is upping to 13 gr slugs that did the trick, but dont think so his SP M30 shoot the 10 gr ones just fine too. you can barely see these little mice with that old...

    Cleaning of air rifle

The insides and all the parts i am OK with. But what to use on the outside, my Two look a bit banged up by now and i would like to clean it, but afraid of ruining the surface treatment on it. It is not bad either but still like to do something.

    Tethered at the bench

That is the way i always shoot. So i just got to thinking, i dont really need a air tank on my rifle, but i would instead take a proper length lower rail instead and pay the same for the rifle. Here i have modified a RTI Mora in paint with a lower rail to demonstrate. I also imagine a connector...

Another evening in the shed with the NV gear.

3 deg C outside, 15 deg C inside the shed, so not uncomfortable. Only mice visited this time, and a few got away, or more likely made several appearances where the last one was mortal. Not in video later at night a even smaller mouse visited the feeder, but it was related to speedy Gonzales so...

    Shot shed update

Well we finally got to Sub zero ( C ) temperatures here, the shed heat sources did well but really we need to have smaller openings to shoot out of on these really cold days. Also insulation would not hurt, so come spring / summer i think i will have to put some of that on the roof at least...

    Lazy boy hunting

As is someone ( 3 of them ) just pranced past the shot shed at 75 M And as i was dialed in for 55 M with the 10 grain KO MK3 slugs, well i very well know my holdovers, and so getting permission from my friend to take the shot ( these birds throw his 2 dogs into tantrums when they prance around...

The shot shed are ready for the not off season.

Adding a 12 V fan to the wood burning stove, did wonders adding +4 deg C, and so shooting / waiting for the rats / mice to come out was quite comfortable. This Inside temperature grabbed with 1 lane on full tilt ( MAX open shudders ) and the other lane on 1/2 open shudder Inside...
