Can anyone with experience on the 22 cal Avenger tell me why the regulator preforms better as the fill pressure drops down to the 2200 psi range when the regulator is set anywhere from1500 psi to 2200 psi and the hammerspring from 0 to 4 turns in (it doesnt seem to matter)

My Avenger won't fill past 1000 psi after degassing to turn the regulator down. I am using the Air Venturi nomad 2 compressor. I've had this Avenger for 2 years and adjusted it plenty of times without problems. Its been sitting for 24hrs and is still holding 1000 psi so Its not leaking. I dry...
