HW/Weihrauch I have my HW50 tuned great,at first I hated it because it did not perform the way people were bragging about it.

I knew it had a great trigger, but it was a rough firing,I had to put at least 1000pellets before it started to calm down.I then put a AH tune kit in it and it was the way it should have been, all good now...light accurate springer.Shooting JSB Exact heavy 10.34 good pellet for mine. I got...

I discoverd a cheap way to keep your scope from getting dust on the lens

when it is standing upright.....Sometimes I do not have time to search for my scope covers ....what to do, I see an old sock,I cut it to fit, turn it inside out so it doesn't shed lint and there you go a cheap temporary lens cover

For same money spent Hawke and Discovery scopes are good choices

The Hawke Vantage I mount in my springers, and also some of the Discovery. The Discovery scopes have a line of springer-rated scopes.

if I may interject an observation about springers and pcps is this

I quality springer, which there are many can outshoot a pcp that costs about the same. Yes ,I tested my theory yesterday,ok it is a generalization,never-the-less for me it holds true. A $400-500 springer is more accurate that a $400-500 pcp... I think why too many guys go with the pcp is...

my PCP shooting has changed now ,I do a lot more of it,

Why,because now I use my air compressor......it had been sitting unused for 3 years because I used a handpump, why, because it was like a workout. What happened is I a bought 4 new PCPs around the beginning of the year, and they all had larger and higher pressure bottles=too much handpumping...

it seems eye relief is more critical when using a scope on a Bullpup.

What are you finding out? I like shorter scopes and because of the weaver or Picatinny rails can not always get the optimum eye relief. This is a problem for me with Bullpups.... shooting offhand vs. shooting from a bench the hold changes thus the eye relief changes for me. Um ,my long...

The Quest,I woke up this morning thinking about why so many things.

Why? the search the quest, the pursuit. For some it is continuous, even when they have found the right path or setup,or pellet ,slug there still is the addiction of perfection,in fact for some that is what is important. The goal,to achive the best your air gun is capable of.There are so many...

It can only be two things, right?

Thoughts, Shooting my Maurader Field Target.22 using Air Arms Diabolo Field 16 grams I get all pellets touching at 25+ yards. Next day my groups are opening up....So my air pressure went down ,could that cause my groups to open up ,I mean it was not a big drop ,but it was getting down to...

This upsets me because it is not helpful

It is when someone asks about wanting to get a air gun that fits their budget. They state that,ok? Then we get someone or a couple of people saying get so and so airgun because it's worth spending a lot more money for. Guess what? You just did that person a disservice. They told you they had a...

Accuracy: I think once you have found the right settings and

With the right pellet, scope, etc., most good-quality air rifles are close to the same accuracy. What is different is the amount of time and concentration required to achieve that accuracy. What do you think?
