My FX v2 always misses shots. The Athlon hasn’t missed one. The FX stops at 1100 fps - not a problem unless you just want to know how fast the sound breakers are going! The Athlon also works well on crossbows.

Mine friend and I each have a GK1 that we hunt with. We both have the Huma 40 mods on the guns. My .22 is noticbly quieter than the .25. We both have them on higher power so the shot count is 2 magazines before refil. Both are actually back yard friendly and TBH mine is quieter than my .177...

I have the Huma Mod 40 on my DRS .22 700mm and it is backyard quiet! I'm shooting 33g slugs at 1018 FPS and it is quite loud with no moderator. No POI shift problems at all. I have 3 of the sections on it. I also have a Yokozuna on my .25s with the QD, but the Huma is quieter.

I have had no problems with mine, either. So far it works quite well. I do have an older FX that I may use to see the difference and then I could put the Athlon down range to get a speed to compute the BC. Works with all my rifles and pistols.
