    One shot, one kill

This is kind of a takeaway from couple threads, but not. You have your trusty pest gun on permanent standby for key pests, year round. What is it? When you have to have full confidence reaching for it off the rack/ case and drop an ethical kill shot every time, assuming you do your part. Mine is...

How many of you have been holding off on new ags?

No, I’m pursuing slug guns as for pellets, I can go used. My funds are the only limit.

N/A What air pistol do you use for pest control?

Idk, you’d need to watch uk videos of this gun. Should be spot on at 20 yards. But check the videos, the 17 FPE American version is dead accurate at 49 yards.

FX New First...Not a Good Thing, Stuck Slugs in Barrel!

He’s referring to putting a 1/4” diameter wood dowel on the now separated barrel and tapping the dowel until the slugs come out. I’ve never had issues with slug double feeds not clearing out of a barrel this way. Just annoying to do when you want to shoot. If 1/4” diameter dowel is too big, Home...

RTI Epic One 600mm or Mora 600mm both. .22

I like epic, and I’ve held the mora , the mora is solid, I don’t remember weakness/ flexibility anywhere, I think the profile on the mora is better. I also think it’s easier to change barrels on the mora, more in line with Epic 2.

    Improvements?

Brands 0db, huggett, IA, Donny, trident. We all know what they are. So we’ll keep discussions simple. Has the newer and more expensive stuff proven itself over more budget conscious models like hugger and BRK? I don’t need DB’S readings. Just your impressions if you happen to have used these...

    Slug Opinions

You would need to slug the barrel and measure groove ridge gently with precise calipers. That’s your barrel diameter, guaranteed AVS has that diameter. Good luck. If you don’t know how to slug a barrel, watch Air velocity sport on YouTube, specifically epic 2 slugging barrel and range shooting...

N/A I want a cheap, really precise pistol with enough power to do small game

Hw44 with weihrauch silencer. 16-17 FPE and quiet as can be. And accurate as can be at 40 yards. Best stealth I’ve ever seen.

Taipan New Slash videos posted by Taipan on YouTube

Several excellent points to be sure. My gut tells me their internal shroud baffles should be as good or better than the vet 1. Their valve system appears hammerless, with the biggest balanced valve I ever saw. Which appears in front of your cheek, so that ping should be under control. Now...

    Taipan there when it counts

Had an issue with my vet 2 mags not cycling. With Mareks help, the culprit was a part of the ADF mechanism. Despite English not being his first language, he patiently responded to every message I sent.

Taipan New Slash videos posted by Taipan on YouTube

Yes, videos that may not be exciting initially, but will be highly appreciated if any issues arise. Plus, note that “power kits “ need to be purchased to either power gun way down, guessing UK standards or real high power as bragged about.
