Most scuba divers have probably noticed having dry mouth after (from the dried filtered air) scuba diving there is even a company that makes a regulator with a metal piece in it kinda like a reed in a wind instrument to catch the moisture from your breath to keep your mouth moist.

so by that logic there is no reason compressor need filters to fill scuba tanks

don't even need to be high pressure, your average nail gun pan compressor (120PSI) max has a bleed valve which after running for the day on a job will have water in it.

I have used UTG BugBuster's on a couple of springers and found them quite adequate even out to 50 yrds and beyond.

Without a doubt frustration set in to damage it that bad. I've owned 7 fx rifles, The few problems I've had was user error like double load, turning H/S adjuster while the gun was cocked, not closing the magazine correctly. All seven were MOA out of the box and great (as advertised) shot count...

the leshiy's weakest link is the trigger in my opinion. It's like a double action revolver trigger. You can get used to it, but it will never be a target trigger. Great hunting gun and I love the compactness of the L1 and L2 in their short versions.

I was thinking something like that, doesn't need to cover the whole end just a small strip would do the job.

You could probably keep a pony bottle in a cooler type thing to fill and as long as your gun isn't in direct sun light I wouldn't worry too much.
